Objectives
The objectives of the Seminar are as follows:
- to promote the English Language Department of the Institute of Teacher Education Batu Lintang Campus as a leader in the ELT arena for innovative primary educational practices;
- to provide a platform for ELT primary teachers in Sarawak to share their voice, and experience and to highlight creative strategies that they use to engage English language learning in the classroom;
- to link research and teaching practices in order to inspire English language learning in Sarawak classrooms;
- to encourage continuous professional development among ELT teachers; and
- to create opportunities for professional networking and the exchange of ideas among ELT teachers both in Malaysia and the international arena.
